"The SoloProtect solution gives us peace of mind that if a situation does arise, there is always someone there ready to listen, monitoring our safety and wellbeing."
Domino’s Pizza has adopted the SoloProtect solution and have been supplied with 150 safety devices for their supply chain delivery drivers.
To protect their delivery drivers who work alone, Domino's Pizza has implemented the SoloProtect solution, which provides 150 wearable safety devices.
These devices allow the user to raise an emergency alarm if they feel threatened, capture verbal abuse, and detect if the user is incapacitated due to a slip, trip, fall or health issue.
The solution was chosen by the Domino's health and safety team after consulting with their delivery drivers, who appreciated the device's discreet appearance and ease of use.
According to the Transport Planning Assistant at Domino's, the SoloProtect solution provides peace of mind for the drivers, as there is always someone monitoring their safety and wellbeing, ready to escalate any situation to the emergency services if necessary:
"As a driver delivering to our stores at all times of the day and night, you can sometimes encounter situations that can leave you feeling isolated and alone. The SoloProtect solution gives us peace of mind that if a situation does arise, there is always someone there ready to listen, monitoring our safety and wellbeing, and escalating any situation to the emergency services as appropriate."
Customers also have access to SoloProtect Insights, which streamlines user onboarding, training, and reporting. Additionally, it provides benefits for workforce management, including enhanced colleague visibility and increased productivity of mobile teams.
