Three core functions of the SoloProtect lone worker alarm solution are:
1. Red alert: In the most serious situations, if a lone worker feels they are in danger or they’ve had an accident, for example, they can discreetly raise an alarm called a "Red Alert" at the press of a button on their safety device.
The “Red Alert” opens a discreet one-way call with SoloProtect’s Monitoring Centre (or "ARC") where trained operatives can quickly locate the position of the user, listen in to the live situation and decide on the next steps. This could be alerting the emergency services or calling the user’s designated alarm contact.

2. Check-in: The "check-in" functionality allows a lone worker to leave a voice note containing details of their current location and situation. This contextual information is particularly useful if the user is going to a location that they know presents a safety risk. This is because, in the event of a Red Alert or Man Down Alarm occurring, the information could help to ensure our ARC has all the information needed to act as quickly as possible.
3. Incapacitation (Man Down Alarm): An "Incapacitation Alarm" can be deployed automatically if the lone worker alarm senses that the user is incapacitated. This is device dependent and based on tilt, non-movement, acceleration and/or impact.
