"The ongoing commitment and support from SoloProtect is hugely valued by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and all the people we work with, and for."
The Suzy Lamplugh Trust was created in 1986 after the disappearance of Suzy Lamplugh. Suzy worked as a estate agent and has never been found.
The goal of the Trust is to decrease the risk of violence and aggression through education, campaigning, and support. They take their employees' safety very seriously, with regular in-house training and a SoloProtect lone worker solution.
The Trust's Chief Executive Officer emphasises the importance of ensuring lone workers safety:
"Whether you have one lone worker or a thousand, it’s important you, as an employer, do everything you can to ensure their safety. The nature of our business, and of course the history of Suzy Lamplugh Trust, means lone working is something we take extremely seriously."
From the very beginning, the Trust has been at the forefront of educating people on personal safety; providing training for individuals and organisations, publishing guidance, providing workplace support and consultancy, and launching the National Stalking Helpline: 0808 802 0300.
As well as this, Suzy Lamplugh Trust works with partners such as SoloProtect to raise awareness.
