SoloProtect Partner with Sheffield Working Women's Opportunities Project

Swwop is a charity providing practical and intensive support to women involved in street prostitution in Sheffield. The charity works to improve the health and wellbeing of these women, as well as to reduce their vulnerability and increase their safety. They aim to support this group of women to look after themselves and to enable them to make informed choices about their lives.

As a result of this work, Swwop has a nighttime, street-based outreach team providing invaluable support, which ranges from providing food, hot drinks and a friendly face, to more structured help with accessing benefits, tackling housing issues, drug treatment support and much more.

SoloProtect will be supplying its personal safety solution to Swwop throughout 2023, giving support to the staff and volunteers who work in the community. The personal safety solution will help ensure the safety of the Swwop employees and provide an added layer of protection as they carry out their important work.
